Hydrotherapy for Dogs
Hydrotherapy provides a non-weight bearing form of exercise in a specially designed heated pool, measuring 7mtrs x 4mtrs; heated to a minimum temperature of 29°C. The heating of the pool aids in providing comfort, relaxation, and pain relief. In addition, hydrotherapy provides excellent therapy for dogs in need of careful rehabilitation after injury or those suffering with general orthopaedic conditions. The size of our hydrotherapy pool enables dogs to come for fitness & feel good swims too.
Myotherapy - Muscle Massage for Dogs
There is a separate treatment room for myotherapy. Myotherapy specialises in the identification and treatment of muscular injury, weakness, muscle spasm, and associated compensatory issues. The myotherapy techniques enable the therapist to work on the appropriate muscles to reduce areas of stress, improve circulation, muscle function, and therefore alleviate pain. This can aid in the enhancement of their performance, well-being, and recovery.
Physical Muscular Development
There is a designated area for the dogs to receive physical muscular development exercises; these types of exercises target the canine athletes to develop their strength and stamina. In addition to this, these physical muscular exercises are extremely beneficial to dogs that are recovering from injuries, or have reduced mobility.

We have a separate treatment room, which is available for physiotherapy. This is available on selected days, by pre-booking an appointment.
Laser Therapy and Stance Analyser
Laser treatments can help speed up healing, strengthen muscle and tissue, improve mobility and enhance your dog's overall quality of life almost immediately. Laser treatment for dogs applies deep-penetrating light to promote a chain of chemical reactions known as photobiostimulation. Pain relief is provided by reducing the inflammation through vasodilation and also by activating the lymphatic drainage system, thus draining swollen areas. The lasers also stimulate nerve cells that block pain signals from being transmitted to the brain, thereby decreasing nerve sensitivity. Because there is less inflammation, less swelling and an interruption of pain signals to the brain, the dog will experience less pain. Laser treatments for dogs also stimulate the production of high levels of naturally-produced endorphins which further counteract your dog's pain.
